While the Cyberpunk 2077 formal launch yielded mostly catastrophic results and enraged feedback, the game remains a popular play across the world. A lot of it’s popularity comes from it’s sexually intense content, despite it’s technical glitchery. Cyberpunk 2077 sex scenes are a popular search, but so are dozens of gameplay fixes.
So Cyberpunk 2077 will go with its hot hand, as they say, and launch a romantic visual novel. Yeah, more sex is coming to the platform.
The CD Projekt Red has green lit the new visual novel, endearingly titled, Cyberbang 2069. That’s a lot of innuendo in one name, but it all appropriately fits. You can find the full novel here.
According to The Gamer, Cyberpunk 2077 Nara wanted to date Goro, but couldn’t. So they created a movement towards a romantic visual novel side of the game.
“I was basically sad because I couldn’t date Goro in Cyberpunk 2077. As a straight Fem V I was given one choice only. River is okay, but one romanceable character? It’s just sad.” She said.
Cyberbang 2069 ports a number of Cyberpunk 2077 characters into a sexified visual experience. Think of this new Cyberbang 2069 as a visual dating simulation. You might call this new endeavor fan fiction, or you could call it a slimy way to cash in on a popular brand. I go with the former because I’m a fun bro. It isn’t a porn game, we know that for sure. But its certainly erotica.
The Itch.io page features two versions of Cyberbang 2069, one explicit and one safe for work version. But correct me if I’m wrong, if if one version is “safer,” I’m not sure you want your boss catching you creeping on an internet smut novel called Cyberbang 2069. But hey, I’m not your boss. At least not in that way.
Cyberbang 2069 is an extension of Cyberpunk 2077 characters. In 2077, you can’t hook up with Keanu Reeve’s Johnny Silverhand character. But in 2069, you can latch on to him in a romantic sphere. Basically, it’s smut and Keanu Reeves. It pairs well. Given Keanu Reeves already says he’d love to have sex with fans, it isn’t difficult to see the appeal of Cyberbang 2069.
Both the safe and smutty versions of Cyberbang 2069 are free to download. The novel may be expanded to more characters and more romantic plots in the future. That’s all likely dependent on its out of gate success. But if I’m a betting man, I’d say Cyberbang 2069 is going to fly from its virtual shelves like virtual hot cookies. But we shall see.
